Shawn advises BSC Group clients on debt and equity financing and loan workout services for all commercial property types, with an emphasis on the self-storage asset class. In addition, he is a frequent speaker and panelist at self-storage industry trade shows and a contributing writer for national storage industry publications.
Shawn’s professional experience includes credit roles at Duff and Phelps and Fitch Ratings. He also worked for Wells Fargo Bank as a commercial mortgage underwriter and credit analyst, and immediately prior to helping found The BSC Group was a Senior Vice President with Beacon Realty Capital. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a core emphasis on economic development and real estate finance.

Working in partnership with BSC Group clients, Devin arranges commercial property debt and equity financing solutions for the entire capital stack. His financing expertise and advisory services span the multifamily, medical and self-storage asset classes. Devin is also a contributing author to several real estate trade publications, and a popular guest presenter and panelist at tradeshows and seminars nationwide.
Prior to helping found The BSC Group, Devin was a Senior Vice President at Beacon Realty Capital. He has also worked at GE Commercial Finance Business Property, Heller Financial, and in Arthur Andersen’s Transaction Advisory Group. Devin received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dave is responsible for sourcing and executing finance assignments for self storage and commercial owner-operators. He has arranged over $400 million of capitalizations in all phases of the investment cycle including bridge loans, permanent loans, mezzanine debt, joint venture equity, construction financing and property dispositions. He is a frequent speaker at the national tradeshows and writes finance articles for numerous industry publications.
Prior to joining The BSC Group, Dave was the Senior Vice President at Brownstone Investment Inc. based in San Francisco, CA providing debt and equity solutions. He previously served as a Vice President at Buchanan Storage Capital and has over 20 years of sales and management experience from the Silicon Valley. Dave holds a BS degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Political Science. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of California.

Noel advises BSC Group clients on debt and equity financing and loan workout services for all commercial property types. Noel has significant experience in underwriting and cash flow modeling as well as due diligence and site analysis.
Noel's professional experience includes loan origination and credit underwriting positions at LaSalle Bank and Dominion Bond Rating Service. Most recently he worked for Dexia Real Estate Capital Markets in their Chicago Loan Production Office. He earned a bachelor's degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.

Casey performs the financial underwriting and due diligence on behalf of The BSC Group’s clients and assembles the loan request package that is sent to potential lenders. During his career, Casey has participated in the underwriting and closing of more than $3 billion in commercial real estate transactions.
Casey has professional experience in both commercial real estate and sustainable energy finance. Prior to joining The BSC Group, Casey worked with both Devin and Shawn for three years at Beacon Realty Capital as their in-house Analyst. He also worked at the California Center for Sustainable Energy and NuDyn Technologies, Inc., where he modeled cash flow projections for residential, commercial and utility-scale solar installations. He earned a master’s degree from the University of California – San Diego and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Wisconsin – Madison, majoring in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics.
